  Had a bad staff experience on Sunday, February 26th. The guy taking the order incorrectly took the order even though we said it twice to make sure he got it. He just kept saying "whats your name" and wouldnt listen. He forgot one of two sandwiches on the ticket. Then when the food didn't come, we told staff what it was supposed to be, and so they made it but again took it incorrectly and gave the wrong food. We explained again that it was wrong to the woman behind the counter but no one wanted to deal with it so we left. Food might be good but staff was poor. Disappointing.

  Great local coffee shop! Coffee is definitely better that it used to be under the old management. The inside looks much better now that they decorated the walls after the renovation. Too bad they close much earlier now though than back in the days!

  The new management and renovation are a plus. The cold brewed coffee was great this past summer, though now that it's cold I'm for the hot stuff. We've been to a number of music events in the evening, the old jazz group that plays regularly, as well as some new folk. It's walk-able for us, as we live in Del Ray and a favorite stop on Saturdey morngings after we go to the farmers market across the street.

  Good, but not as good under the new management. Example: today they literally had no drip coffee to sell at 2 pm ("it will be ready in about six minutes"). Seriously, guys? No coffee? I expect to hear the bouzouki music start any minute now. Plus: the (actual) music is way too loud.
